“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant.”Albert Einstein
Every thought we think is creating our future. But where do these thoughts come from? Can we believe these deeply buried beliefs in our subconscious mind? Scientists say that the first seven years of life have established a base for how we perceive ourselves and the world around us. We have soaked up information like little sponges accepting irrational, negative, untrue and often disturbing information along with all the goodness and feelings of safety (or not) from our surroundings. Do we still believe in the Easter Bunny or Santa? Why then do we still believe we are unworthy of love or not good enough in some way? It is time to replace these self-limiting beliefs that are holding us back and sabotaging our success with positive affirmations. It is possible to reprogram the subconscious mind through repetition and awareness of your inner self talk.
“When you become aware of your thoughts, you can start to change them.”pg 25 Transformation
Since we have established that our subconscious mind accepts whatever we choose to believe , then using an affirmation as a tool to change from the inside out, just makes sense. A thought can be changed for the good, and life will follow that thought to flow towards a positive experience.
“They are the code for how you will function in your life when you aren’t thinking about it.”pg 17 Transformation
An affirmation is a positive statement for what we want in our lives. Best selling author and world authority on affirmations, Louise Hay, believes, “Always use the present tense such as I am or I have, since the subconscious mind is such an obedient servant. To say I will or I want will keep it just out of reach.”
Consider the following examples:
“I have smooth, soft, youthful, radiant skin.”
“I have glowing, moist skin.”
“My skin reflects my inner peace.”
“I have clear, healthy skin.”
